Configuring Change Log Email Settings

Learn how to enable/disable Change Log emails or change the frequency of the emails sent about changes made in the portal.

Users can configure whether they are notified of changes. Users can choose to enable or disable in-platform notifications in addition to email notifications. Automated email digests summarizing changes can be set to immediately, daily, or weekly. These configurations are specific to each user, and not to all network admins within the network.

To adjust change log notification settings, go to your account settings by clicking the initials in the upper right corner of the screen on any page, then click Your Account.

From the Manage Your Account page, click Notification Settings.

Under Change Log, the first option offers the choice to enable or disable the change log. This should already be set to Enabled from the initial map setup. If not, check with the network administrator to determine why changes are not being tracked, or request that the change log be enabled.

Under Change Log Email Notifications, indicate whether you would like to receive notifications of changes to your email account by clicking Enabled or Disabled. Changes still appear on the Change Log page even if notifications have been disabled.

Under Change Log Summary, indicate how frequently to receive changes by clicking one of the following options:

  • Immediate – every change is sent by email as soon as it occurs
  • Daily – a digest of all changes from the day
  • Weekly – a digest of all changes from the week
