Activating and Deactivating Locations

Learn how to show or hide locations on Vivery maps

Locations that have been added to the Vivery network can be shown or not shown on maps by activating or deactivating. Active locations appear on Vivery maps and in search results, but inactive locations do not.

Deactivating a location preserves profile details and allows for a profile to be reactivated at any time without loss of data. It also allows the agency to continue to access Automated Websites or Text Messaging features.

Deactivating a Location

Click Locations in the left navigation menu. In the List of Locations, the Status column indicates whether a given location is active or inactive. Search for a location using the Search… bar, then select a location by clicking on its name.

This opens the Locations Details page. In the General Information area, click the Edit icon.

In the pop-up window, click the dropdown icon in the field labeled Location Status and select the appropriate option. If the agency is no longer in service, or is temporarily out of service, choose Inactive. This will prevent this agency from being listed on any Vivery maps until it is reactivated. Click Save Changes when finished.

Activating a Location

To activate an inactive location, click Locations in the left navigation menu.

If the agency is back in service, choose Active. This will display this agency on Vivery maps. Click Save Changes when finished.

NOTE: If a location closes permanently and should be deleted from the Vivery platform, email a deletion request to the Vivery Support Team at support@vivery.org.
