Customizing an Automated Website

Learn how to add images, a headline, language translation, and/or network logos to an Automated Website

After you have enabled an automated website, you can further customize it by adding a logo, headline, images, and more.

NOTE: The automated website must first be enabled to customize it.

Accessing the Manage Websites Page

To customize your website, click Automated Websites in the left navigation menu, then click Manage Websites.

Adding a Logo to an Automated Website

Add a logo by clicking Upload Image under Location Logo. Locate the appropriate image file using the finder on your device. This logo appears at the top of your automated website.

Adding a Main Image to an Automated Website

To adjust the image that viewers will see at the top of your website, click Upload Image under Main Image.

Adding a Background Image to an Automated Website

To add an image to the background of your website, click Upload Image under Background image. This image may be covered by some information on your site.

Once an image is uploaded, you will see a preview of it. Delete an image by clicking the Delete icon at the upper-right corner of the image preview.

Adding a Headline to an Automated Website

To add a headline for a location, from the Manage Websites view, click the green Edit icon next to Location Headline. Type the headline in the text field that appears and click Save. This headline will appear near the top of your website and typically contains a slogan or tag line. Click Save when finished.

You can add a full gallery of images to your website by clicking Upload Image(s) under Image Gallery.

Displaying Network Logos on an Automated Website

You can show or hide your network (food bank) logo on your website, or the Vivery logo if you are an independent organization.

Under Display Networks, click Show or Hide according to your preference. The active option appears green. For example, if the Hide button is green, then your network’s logo does not show on your website.

Adding Language Translation to an Automated Website

Enable a language translation widget so that people seeking services can view the website in other languages. When using an alternate language, all text on the client-facing Vivery map and agency list are translated except for the location’s name and address.

Under Manage Websites, navigate to the Language Translation section at the bottom of the page. Designate which languages to make available by clicking the dropdown icon and selecting all that apply.

NOTE: Select which languages are available before enabling this widget.

To enable or disable the language translation widget, click Show or Hide according to your preference. If Show is selected, the button is green and language translation will be enabled for this website. If Hide is selected, the widget is not visible.
