Renaming Items in Vivery

Learn how to change display names in Vivery to better match your network's naming conventions.

Global or Network administrators can control the names of filters and other items displayed on the Vivery platform and map using Display SettingsThis allows networks to tailor the platform to suit their specific terminology and vernacular. Changing names affects how filters, categories, and program details are displayed on maps and in the Vivery platform management area.

To adjust item names, from the left navigation menu, click Settings, then click Display Settings.

From the Display Settings page, adjust labels for any filter or category name. Each category contains filters listed by their default names. If your network refers to a food distribution as a “Food Shelf,” for example, expand the Food Program Category list, find the item with the closest approximate meaning (in this case, “Food Distribution”), click the check box just below the default name, then type the new name (“Food Shelf”) in the text area.

This change will adjust the label from Food Distribution to Food Shelf in both the Vivery portal and on public Vivery maps in your network.

At the bottom of the Display Settings page, you can change the way that all major sections are labeled under Major Category Headings. This includes the headings Food Program Category, Food Program Features, Items Offered, Dietary Options Available, Programs, Location Features, and Languages Spoken.

NOTE: All support documentation will use the default headings. To avoid confusion, do not change these unless necessary.

After making the desired changes to the display settings, click Save Changes.
