Adding a Location Announcement

Learn how to add a an announcement section to a location

Location announcements are brief important messages that appear prominently on a location’s map profile. Location announcements can be used for many purposes. They can be used to announce emergency closures, sudden changes in service, health and safety protocols, and more.

 

NOTE: Location announcements have a character limit of 900. If the announcement is longer than that, consider adding some information from the announcement to other sections

 

To add a location announcement, click Locations in the left navigation menu. Find a location by typing its name in the Search… field, then select the location by clicking on its name in the List of Locations.

On the Location Details page, scroll down the page to the Location Announcements section and click the Edit icon to edit the details. 

Enter your message into the text field. Use the bold (B), italicize (I), or underline (U) tools above the text area to enhance your announcement.  

Click Save Changes when finished.
