Adding Links to a Location Profile
The Action Links section allows you to add custom links to a location’s map listing. Custom links can be added to direct people to additional support offerings, applications, online ordering, social media profiles, important files, and more. These links appear in the Take Action section of a location page.
The platform automatically creates certain action links based on the information provided in your profile and what functionality has been enabled for the location. These automated links include "Call", "Website", "Directions", "Download in English", and "Sign Up for Text Alerts" (if enabled).
To begin adding links to a profile, click Locations in the left navigation menu. Use the search bar to find the location, then select the location by clicking on its name in the list.

This opens the Location Details page. Scroll down to the Action Links section and click the Edit icon.

This will open a pop-up that allows you to add custom links to this profile.
In the Link URL field, enter the web address of the link. This link must contain the full URL including the http:// or https://.
In the Display Text field, enter a description of the link provided. For example, if the link directs to an agency’s website, enter Pantry Home Page. If it directs to an online order form, enter Order Form. The description you enter in this field will be visible to map users rather than the web address you entered in the Link URL section.
Next to Choose an Icon, select an icon that will appear alongside your link that best suits the content.
Click +Add Link to add the link to the list, then either add more links, or click Save Changes when finished.

Editing and Deleting Links in a Location Profile
Once links are added, you can edit, delete, or reorder them.
To rearrange the order of your links, click and hold the Sort icon and drag the links into the desired order. The link appearing at the top will be the first link after the automated links that map users see in the Take Action section of the map listing.
To delete a link, click the Delete icon in the desired link’s row. Deleting the link cannot be undone.
To edit the link URL, display text, or icon, click the Edit icon in the desired link‘s row.

When editing a link, the pop-up window will change slightly to allow you to make changes. When you are finished editing the link, click Update Link to lock in your changes. If you would like to close the window without saving, click Cancel Link Update.

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to save your work.
