The Location Description section allows you to add information about the location, mission, or other details that neighbors may find useful. Adding a location description is a great way to help people be better informed and more at ease about visiting a location for assistance.
NOTE: A location overview applies to the overall location, not its individual program(s). For more information on adding overviews to individual programs, refer to Adding a Program Overview/Description.
To add or edit a Location Overview, click Locations in the left navigation menu. Type the name of the location in the Search… box, click the search icon, then click on the name of the location to open the Location Details page.

Click the edit icon in the Location Description area to open the pop-up window.

To add a description, type your information into the Location Overview field.
Text formatting options include bold (B), italic (I), and underlined (U) text using the controls in the formatting bar above the text field.
Add a link by clicking the link icon and completing the fields in the Insert Hyperlink window. Type the URL of the link into the Web Address field, including http:// or https:// at the beginning of the URL. Add the display text for the link in text field. Check the Open Link in New Window checkbox to cause a new window to appear upon clicking the link. If the box is not checked, the link will open on the same page.
Click the Insert button to add the link to the Location Overview text.

NOTE: If the location has an automated website enabled, you can also add a logo for the location and apply a headline to the description. These fields only become available after an automated website is enabled.
Click Save Changes when finished.
